Invitation to Change (ITC) is a modern, compassionate approach for families and loved ones impacted by substance use and mental health challenges. Developed by the Center for Motivation and Change, ITC blends science, kindness, and practical tools to help families support change without using shame, blame, or force.

Founded in 1979, NAMI provides advocacy, education, support, and public awareness to individuals and families at no cost.

Illume Family Recovery is a Richmond, Virginia-based non profit dedicated to empowering families affected by substance use through education, coaching, and community support. Offering personalized family recovery coaching, support groups, and educational workshops, Illume helps families strengthen communication, set healthy boundaries, and support their loved ones’ recovery. The Chris Atwood Foundation (CAF) is a Virginia-based nonprofit dedicated to saving lives from overdose and supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.
